YouTube Allows Cambodian Content Producers to Re-Earn Revenue
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On 24 November 2022 the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC) issued a press release on the official launch of a "partnership program" with YouTube. According to the press release the MPTC has been working with YouTube representatives to find a solution to this problem for all Cambodian content producers after the suspension of monetization services on the YouTube video nursery in Cambodia.
As a result from discussions with YouTube, the MPTC announces that from November 2022 onwards, YouTube will officially launch the "YouTube Partner Program" in the Kingdom of Cambodia, which allows Cambodian YouTube content producers to earn revenue and access opportunities by taking advantage of YouTube's many key features and resources as well.
MPTC will continue to work with YouTube and other online video nursery companies to develop content producers' training programs, as in the past, which are aimed at strengthening content producers’ ability to produce great content in accordance with principles of intellectual property rights, bringing public benefit in terms of education, entertainment, digital technology, business and innovation, all of which will contribute to the economic and social development of Cambodia.
At the same time, to promote digital education, all content producers are encouraged to participate in the Go Digital Cambodia video content competition, which can be found at www.godigital.gov.kh.

Re: YouTube Allows Cambodian Content Producers to Re-Earn Revenue
It's good news for some, however, a chief reason for the suspension of monetization in the first place was the extreme proliferation of harmful and exploitative content depicting animal cruelty, wildlife hunting and eating and destruction of natural habitat for the fake "primitive technology" genre among other issues by Khmer creators
Hopefully those creators do not benefit from the re-monetization of the nations YouTube creators

A logical next step would be start charging coffee shops, restaurants, bars, shops for the current free use of content (music) created by others.

So animal cruelty, wildlife hunting, and destruction of the natural habitat stopped in Cambodia when creators were cut off from monetizing YouTube?Jerry Atrick wrote:It's good news for some, however, a chief reason for the suspension of monetization in the first place was the extreme proliferation of harmful and exploitative content depicting animal cruelty, wildlife hunting and eating and destruction of natural habitat for the fake "primitive technology" genre among other issues by Khmer creators

If so, I do hope that you enrolled yourself in any English language classes that you may have organised for your other half.

On the other hand it's a nice example of reductio ad absurdum.Freightdog wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 8:47 pmIs that truly what you comprehended from what was written?newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 7:32 pmSo animal cruelty, wildlife hunting, and destruction of the natural habitat stopped in Cambodia when creators were cut off from monetizing YouTube?Jerry Atrick wrote:It's good news for some, however, a chief reason for the suspension of monetization in the first place was the extreme proliferation of harmful and exploitative content depicting animal cruelty, wildlife hunting and eating and destruction of natural habitat for the fake "primitive technology" genre among other issues by Khmer creators

I’m still convinced that there are whole training courses, even credits in useless degree courses, in this, enabling inadequate managers to draw tenuous conclusions from data, on which to make seemingly momentous decisions that everyone else has to cope with for decades. Often while the originator of said absurdity has long since been promoted to a position where they can do even more damage.IraHayes wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 8:52 pmOn the other hand it's a nice example of reductio ad absurdum.Freightdog wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 8:47 pmIs that truly what you comprehended from what was written?newkidontheblock wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 7:32 pmSo animal cruelty, wildlife hunting, and destruction of the natural habitat stopped in Cambodia when creators were cut off from monetizing YouTube?Jerry Atrick wrote:It's good news for some, however, a chief reason for the suspension of monetization in the first place was the extreme proliferation of harmful and exploitative content depicting animal cruelty, wildlife hunting and eating and destruction of natural habitat for the fake "primitive technology" genre among other issues by Khmer creators
