RARE PHOTO OF KING NORODOM SIHAMONI
The Royal King Sihamoni, as a youth, pictured with the President of Czechoslovakia, Antonin Novotny, circa 1963. These images were taken by the photographer, Jiri Rublic, and they were a small part of the Documentation Center of Cambodia’s (DC-Cam) exhibit, titled “A Cambodian Dream.” Reflections from a timeless past, the images were well received by the Royal Family.

DC-Cam’s exhibit was curated by DC-Cam director, Youk Chhang, with guidance from Samdech Arun and H.E. Hun Mani, in support of the 100-year anniversary of the late King Father Norodom Sihanouk. With the permission of the Royal Family, DC-Cam kept this exquisite exhibit open for the 40th and 41st Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) summits and associated events including the most historic event of the Association of ASEAN First Ladies Visit to the Queen Mother Library.
