Have your worries about an imminent revolution receded?
No, not yet.
Can't believe someone who was continually telling expats on here to leave is now considering returning.
No, not returning.
What has changed your negative outlook on Thailand?
Nothing, it still stands...
Flee now whilst you still can.

but at least I'm enjoying the ride.

Seems to me people are fleeing from problems in their home countries to come here.sigmoid wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 11:36 pmThanks for askingCowshed Cowboy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 18, 2022 1:19 pm

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I had listened to clowns advising to flee, I'd have missed out on many great years that I wouldn't get back.sigmoid wrote: ↑Sun Nov 20, 2022 11:36 pmThanks for askingCowshed Cowboy wrote: ↑Fri Nov 18, 2022 1:19 pm

Most recently, there was a bit of panic among some expats at the start of the pandemic, but ultimately, Thailand proved to be a great place to stay during the Covid mess.

They'd have the best looking army if the Russian women I'm seeing in Pattaya were conscripted.Clutch Cargo wrote: ↑Mon Nov 21, 2022 10:31 am 1.2.people are fleeing from problems in their home countries to come here1 + 2 = 100% male conscript avoiders?over 24,000 Russians this month traveled to phuket
