RIP Chris Bean

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. RIP Chris Bean

Chris Bean passed away last night from an asthma attack.
He was a really lovely man and will be missed by many people.

RIP Chris.

That's very sad news. I hadn't seen him recently, but he was definitely looking better since his last episode. A really nice bloke who will be fondly remembered.

RIP mate.

Didnt know the guy but an obituary from a close friend seems apt.

Very sad.

Ah crap. Always felt for him when I saw his posts seeking his next role.

Awful way to die

I’ll add it is tragic to read he did not have enough to prioritise always having Ventolin on hand (post made 5 Nov)
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

He told me that he had a casual photo of him & some high brass taken, he then hung the photo above his bar to be clearly seen.
Apparently it worked a treat with the heat!
He went through a hard time finding work prior to Sharky's, nice guy.
RIP

Who was this guy?
Silence, exile, and cunning.
