Phnom Penh's Road Dividers Resist !

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A foreign man suspected of being drunk drove a Lexus RX400h car at high speed and oversteered into the stone road barrier, at 1:20am on November 15, 2022, along Monivong Blvd at the corner of Street 310 in Sangkat Boeung Keng Kang I, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, Phnom Penh.


Sources at the scene said that prior to the incident, a foreign man was apparently drunk driving a white Lexus RX400h, with license plate Phnom Penh 2B0-5380, driving along Monivong Blvd at high speed, when he arrived at the scene above. For some reason, (possibily a combination of high speed and drunkeness), the driver swerved to the left and drove into the concrete road barrier. This collision broke off the front of the car, which had a broken wheel and was in an extremely damaged state.


The foreign driver, who was apparently unharmed in the accident, was detained by the authorities for questioning.Nobody else at the scene was injured.

Foreign Woman In Mini Smashes Road Divider

Cambodia News (PHNOM PENH): On 15 November 2022, a foreign woman was seriously injured while driving a Mini Cooper car at high speed and ran to a stone barrier in the middle of the road, causing complete damage to the front of the car. The shocking incident happened at 1 am, along Norodom Street in Tonle Bassac, Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh.

Sources from the scene said that before the incident, a foreign woman was seen driving a white Mini Cooper (Phnom Penh 2BD-0520) along Preah Norodom Road at high speed, but as she arrived at the Chamkarmon traffic light, she failed to brake in time, lost control of the vehicle and ran into the road barrier.

The foreign woman was seriously injured and was taken for emergency treatment by a private ambulance.
