Corrected. Sounds like it's about work permits.jah steu wrote:The OP text refers to the people having no work VISAS. It is the heading that claims no work PERMITS.
Which is correct? If it's just them not having valid business visas, then it seems there's no real reason to be concerned. If it is permits, then obviously that's much more of a worry, as I got the impression at least in PP that the work permit issue had quietened down recently.

The dap-news article says, "គ្មានប័ណ្ណការងារធ្វើ" - not have work permit.jah steu wrote:The OP text refers to the people having no work VISAS. It is the heading that claims no work PERMITS.

I have read all the posts on this topic and the article on dap-news and I can really say that all is fake. The facts do not match... On the news site they say that they were fined here they were arrested... The best way to know is to find somebody that really lives in Sihanoukville and see the actual situation or ask about it...
Stop placing wrong information around... maybe someone really believe it ...
P.S.: Maybe my post will be deleted by the Admin because it is not favorable for them.... or they admit the fact that they are cheating people... Anyway... somebody will see my post, even for a short time.

The information here was taken from DAP News.
I would suggest contacting them directly if you believe there are errors in what they have reported.
And what are you suggesting is fake?
Feel free to tell us the "facts."

If I didn't know any better, I'd say some pimps have sent bimbos over to CEO to whine abut this issue.
Maybe they should concentrate more on their glorified salesman jobs.

Firstly on DAP News writes that a fine was given in the amount of 3,500,000 riel for this issue, not that they were arrested.
Quote from DAP: "៧នាក់ ត្រូវពិន័យ សរុប៣,៥០០,០០០ រៀល"
Secondly, the Ireland national was caught on an expired visa and it is mentioned that the capture was made in the same afternoon, not at the same place.
Thirdly, on the article writes that in the casino were from Philippines, Uzbekistan, Romania and Israel. In the New Dream, French and on expired visa, Ireland.
So... Why I say that the information given is fake... It doesn't match with the source article, from DAP... and it doesn't have confirmation from the place... and ....
I am not whining... just pointing the obvious.

There's no worse crime than stealing from a casino.
