If you don't know them well and are just there to fill seats I would half what you have suggested.
Thanks - relative of a friend so we're numbers.
In that case I would put $30 - $40 for both of you, not each.
Cheers

I went as the +1 of a local who insisted I not give anything cause he would. After we left we were talking about the costs and he mentioned he gave $50 for us, $25 each, and he said that was standard. It was also in one of those wedding hall places like diamond island's style but it was up near Raffles.

It's a sliding scale.....

1. How well do you know them?
2. What beer are they serving on a scale of Crown-Tiger?
3. How many (if any) bottles of fake whiskey are on the table?
4. What is the fish course?
5. How big is the table of fruit in the middle of the dancefloor?
6. Are the band playing tight?

Tiger is tops? Jeez, low standards.

Fruit in the middle of the dance floor? I must have missed that.

Fish course, usually only 1 type, 1 average size. (I think)

Vlad? Are u serious?

Fish can be from the big carps to mackerel/sea fish and even tuna (once).

What is that big table that everyone dances around at the end covered in?

I've never seen anything but big carp, seriously. Tuna? Fresh? wtf can afford that?

Only table I ever saw at the end was covered with a wedding cake, and I stay away from those because of that stoopid white spray stringy shit

Must have been concentrating on the women and the drinks. One I went to had Chivas and Glenfiddich on the table, nice.

First wedding I went to had a fish that was too large for the carousel, as the locals spun it it's head and tail knocked everything out of its way. Seemed to encourage them to do it more.

You missed the fruit bowl? You don't dance, huh?
