Cambodia News (Sihanoukville): On the afternoon of November 3, 2022, three Chinese nationals, ZANG YANMING, ZANG CHUAN GANG also called DA LONG, and LIANG JINGJING, were sent to trial at the First Instant Court of Sihanoukville, charged with the kidnapping, $170K extortion, and murder of a Chinese man at the Grand Mansion Villa company in village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.
The identities of the three suspects sent before the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Court are:
1 / Name: ZANG YANMING, Male, 43 years old, Nationality Chinese, Occupation: Owner of Ta Seung Sanjong Company, Currently living in Village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.
2 / Name: ZANG CHUAN GANG (aka DA LONG), Male, 38 years old, Nationality Chinese, Occupation: Chief of Security, Ta Seung San Chong Company, Residence: Village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.
3 / Name: LIANG JINGJING, Female, 39 years old, Occupation: Shop owner, Ta Soeng San Chung Company, Residence: Village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

According to officer Heng Bunty, on October 27, 2022, a 26-year-old Chinese woman, JIAN QIAO filed a police report over the disappearance of her husband, NAN XING, the night before. The investigation led to the arrest of Liang Jing, a 39-year-old Chinese woman (the wife of the mastermind), and Zang Yanming, a 43-year-old Chinese man, the mastermind behind the crime.

After interrogation, the couple admitted to luring the victim to have dinner with them at the Grand Mansion Villa. Then they held him hostage in one of their rooms while they demanded a ransom from his wife of $100K via USDT and $70K via Huy Vong bank.

However, once they got their hands on the ransom money, the kidnappers murdered the victim and tossed his body outside the compound in a wasteland area of bush. The body was found the next day, at 2:30pm on 28 October, in Otasek village, Prey Nup district, Sihanoukville province.


On October 30, another suspect, Zang Chuan Gang, a 39-year-old Chinese man aka Da Long, was detained in Prey Tamao village, Kirivong district, Takeo province.
Exhibits found in the suspect's room in village 5, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, include:
1/2 small arms, brand CZ 75 D COMPACT number: A134409 and brand CZP-07 number: D134090, pay 3 and 69 bullets
2/3 mobile phones
3/3 Chinese passports
4/1 Chinese ID card
5/4 driving licenses
6/3 information cards
7/3 SIM cards
8 / Memory (USB)


101,500 USD* was recovered from the suspects and was given back to the victim's family.


* Note that $101,500 was recovered and restored out of a ransom of $170,000 paid to the kidnappers.

A Chinese fellow on twitter claims that the Chinese criminals are all from Taiwan. Some are but surely most are from mainland China. Does anyone know.
