Cambodia News (Pailin Province): At 10:00 am on November 1, 2022, in Phnom Spong village, Sala Krao commune/district, Pailin province, a 20-year-old man called Nget Vakhim, a money collector of Prasethepheap Credit was accused of raping a 12-year-old girl.

According to the source, before the assault, the suspect went to the victim's house to collect the owed money from the girl's mother but she was out.
Seeing that the young girl was by herself in the house, the debt collector decided to have sex with her, and he assaulted her, saying that he would kill her if she cried out.
But later the girl's mother called the police, and the suspect was arrested immediately. After interrogation, he admitted to sexually assaulting the victim and threatening her. He is being held in custody for further proceedings.

What is it that makes boys think it's ok to do this? You don't hear of girls raping little boys but there's stories like this almost every week in the news.
Why do boys have this sense of entitlement?

Going out on a limb, here. They don’t. The wrong ‘uns do, but not boys collectively, don’t. This type of thing is as sickening to any that I know, as it is to you.

Until more money is put into the education system to educate boys that are in the growing up stage of their lives that it is not ok, then we will have to rely on parents to do the job. DNA , hormones and the sexual urge of teenage boys dominates over what their brains tell them to do.

Why call him a boy? Unlike his poor victim, who is indeed a child, the perp is a 20-year-old MAN, who as such needs to be held responsible for what he did wrong.

Notwithstanding you clinging onto the notion that 20-year-old men are boys, what about your sweeping generalisation that all boys have a sense of entitlement to rape girls?

I think a lot of parents would take exception to your hyperbolic mudslinging at their male children.

What makes you assume that he thought it was okay? If he thought it was okay he wouldn't have threatened to kill her if she cried out. He knew it was wrong, he just thought he'd get away with it.

I didn't say ALL boys, ffs.
But when this sort of thing happens, it is usually boys doing it to girls. That was my point.

And where I grew up, you became an adult at 21. We would have huge 21st birthday parties as you entered adulthood.
