SkyScanner offline
SkyScanner offline
it has been offline since yesterday; anyone know what's going on?
Re: SkyScanner offline
URL checking websites show it as up.
I have just checked and it is up for me too.
So the issue isn’t their end.

I've managed to get into the flight section, but it won't stop speaking Spanish!

Re: SkyScanner offline
I've generally found airlines themselves and agents cheaper than skyscanner since the noughties
Re: SkyScanner offline
Skyscanner is a good source for researching available routes and approximate costs, but I always advise people to never book through them or any other 3rd party search engine, best to confirm the advertised routes and availability and then book directly with the airlines. So many people have been burnt booking through skyscanner etc over the past couple years.Jerry Atrick wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 12:41 pm I've generally found airlines themselves and agents cheaper than skyscanner since the noughties

Re: SkyScanner offline
I booked some flights through them a few months ago, the actual site that did the booking was MyFlight. They were fine on the way out but on the return one flight was late so I missed a LHR-BKK flight. Then contacting them was a nightmare, none of their advertised numbers worked and it took me days to find one that worked.PSD-Kiwi wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 3:12 pmSkyscanner is a good source for researching available routes and approximate costs, but I always advise people to never book through them or any other 3rd party search engine, best to confirm the advertised routes and availability and then book directly with the airlines.
