Cambodian News (Kampong Chhnang): On 28 October 2022, the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Police announced the raid on a volleyball gambling venue in Mean Keut village, Tbeng Khpos commune, Samaki Meanchey district, Kampong Chhnang province. The owner is 40 years old Keo Navy, and her place attracts many young and old people living in the village who like to visit, watch the games, and place bets on the players, while they buy water and drinks from the owner.

According to the Samaki Meanchey District Administrative Unity Command, out of the many places to play volleyball in the district, the site inspected was one in which people were bringing the most money to gamble. The district administration has already instructed Keo Navy to stop such activities, but she nevertheless continues. The Samaki Meanchey district administration has not banned the playing of all kinds of sports, so the district administration continues to allow Keo Navy to open her volleyball court, but only for sports.
