Special Forces Detain Kampot Drug Trafficking Suspect
Cambodia News, (Kampot Province): According to the information from the report of the General Commissioner of the National Police, on Tuesday afternoon, October 25, 2022, forces from the Kampot Anti-Drug Bureau cracked down on one case of drug trafficking and use. Nhim Modina, a 33-year-old man living in Techo Aphivath village, Techo Aphivath commune, Kampot province, was taken into custody and charged with drug trafficking.
The police operation took place on October 24 in Techo Aphivath village, Kampot province, under the guidance of Major General Mao Chanthurith, Provincial Police Commissioner. The suspect was wanted for several crimes in Kampot province, and police confiscated evidence such as:
- 3 packs of drugs weighing 8.66 grams
- 2 mobile phones
- 4 bullets 1 magazine
- 1 gun
- 1 small package of ammunition.
Currently, law enforcement forces are building a case against the suspect, which will be sent to Kampot court for processing.
