Hey, Jamie, long time no 'see'.
I was in touch with you about a year back when I started studying Khmer in Jakarta. We had some good chats about Khmer, and English breakfasts. I've been here for nearly 10 months now.
So, okay. What is the subtle difference between "pong" and "dai" when used at the end of of a statement, or question, to convey the meaning "also" or "too" ?

to keep things simple they mean the same way they convey the meaning "also" and "too" in English, you mention why 2 words mean 2 other different words, they can be both used interchangeably, the same way you can use the word too or also interchangeably in English to mean too or also

Unrelated to the current convo, but I downloaded the iOS 12 public beta and saw that the Khmer font is fixed! I especially noticed ខ្ញុំ and how the location of ស្រៈ ុំ has been corrected!

Pong is generally/usually a word thats used to be more polite
