See above. In Germany, tipping is very much the norm for restaurant staff, bell boys, and indeed barbers as well.

Yes, but at a much lower level than in the USA. It's rounding up rather than 20% or I'll piss in your drink next time.

i am exactly the same, a dollar tip is in my eyes very well,

i dont know where in europe they do tip, its probably "imported" from the US, but i travelled around all europe and tipping is not at all the rule, ofcourse its accepted, but nobody will look mad to you if you dont !!

It’s easier now if you want to skip out on it ( tips )/with ABA ,
unless you happen to have a real dollar in your wallet or 4 or 5,000 local monies extra
I always gave them the mangy dollars first knowing they could get it spent but I couldn’t
- for places that bill in US dollars if you ( i do ) only carry reil i pay with *credit card or ABA
With dollars on credit there no conversions or extra charges , dollars on the credit card here is business as usual
& also money I don’t have to get out of the ATM

Don't tip, invest in the whole property. There is a nice building for sale down TTP atm. 12 floors of hookerdom available for drops.

Completely depends on the KTV, some 10-20,000r is adequate, others £10-20 is more appropriate, the most expensive one I went to was a $30 charge for them to join you, after midnight that goes up to $50 lol
