Cambodia News, (Banteay Meanchey Province): Major General Sithi Loh, Banteay Meanchey Provincial Police Commissioner, said on Saturday, October 22, 2022, that following reports by local residents that a Poipet City casino was permitting Cambodians to gamble there, he ordered an immediate investigation.
After receiving this order on 21 October, Poipet City Police Inspector, Colonel Sao Saroeun, dispatched specialized police forces to the location of Good World Casino, also called Srah Tuek Casino, located at Deum Putra Road, Kbal Spean 1 Village, Sangkat O'Chrov, Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province.


According to Colonel Sao Saroeun, on arrival at the casino, the police found Cambodian gamblers at the scene as reported, so the Poipet City Police Inspectorate called the owner and the person in charge to educate them, and to make them sign a contract to refuse any Cambodian nationals who want to gamble at the casino.
At the same time, the city inspector warned that the police force of the Poipet City Inspectorate will take legal action to crack down and close the casino immediately if there are any further cases reported..
