Police arrest 3 Chinese in $ 300,000 Robbery
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): Pursat Provincial Authorities detained a group of 3 Chinese suspects, after they tried to escape, following a robbery committed in Sangkum Thmey village, Thmor Da commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province on October 18, 2022.
Pursat Provincial Deputy Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Molida, confirmed on October 21 that, under the guidance of Brigadier General Tos Theng, Pursat Provincial Police Commissioner had ordered him to lead a manhunt to arrest and detain 4 suspects. Three Chinese men were taken into custody, while a fourth man escaped.
1 / Name: WU BO, Male, 33 years old, Chinese
2 / Name: JIANG JUNCAI, Male, 24 years old, Chinese
3 / Name: JIANG CHEGCAI, Male, 25 years old, Chinese
As for the fourth suspect named CHEANG, he escaped driving a RANGE ROVER, with license plate Phnom Penh 2AX-9449, and is being sought by the authorities.
The victim, XIAO LI, a 33-year-old Chinese man, told police that the four suspects jumped out of the company truck, put a sharp knife against his neck and asked for the code to the vault, and then they tied the employees up and left them in the forest. The four robbers all escaped from the scene, until 3 of them were captured by police on 21 October.

It doesn't mention what type of business with a vault these gangsters were attempting to steal from. Bank? Microfinance? Factory?

Three Chinese charged over robbery and confinement
Pursat Provincial Court yesterday charged and jailed three Chinese nationals for unlawfully confining a fellow countryman, who was their company’s manager, and robbed him of more than $300,000.
Pursat Provincial Police Deputy Chief Colonel Keo Saroeun named the three Chinese accused as Wu Bo, Jiang Juncai, and Jiang Chengcai.
The victim was identified as Li Jiang Bo.
Col Saroeun said that the accused were workers and the victim the general manager of a Chinese-owned road construction company in Pursat district’s Kravanh commune.
He said that the three accused were charged with “detention and unlawful confinement with aggravating circumstances” under Articles 253 and 254 of the Cambodian Criminal Code.
If convicted, they face a prison term of between 15 and 30 years each.
Col Saroeun said that according to police investigations, at about 1.30pm on October 18, the accused persuaded the victim to have lunch together at a local restaurant located in an attractive tourist spot on 1500 Mountain in Phnom Kravanh district, after they had finished road construction work in the area.
“After the victim entered their car, they grabbed him and tied him up with ropes and drove towards a quiet place,” he said. “They tied him to an electricity pole, beat and tortured him.”
“They forced him to hand over his bank book and ATM card and transferred more than $300,000 to one of their own accounts before fleeing,” Col Saroeun added,
