Man Shot in the Leg by Phnom Penh Flyover

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 1:20 am on October 17, 2022, near the Steung Meanchey flyover bridge, Sangkat Steung Meanchey 2, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh, an unidentified man was shot in the leg by an anonymous gunman.

After inflicting the injury, the gunman fled the scene leaving the victim and a bullet shell behind. Later on, the victim was taken to the hospital and the police are investigating the incident.
The motive for the shooting is not yet known.

UPDATE

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): At 1:30 am on October 15, 2020, at the point on the Steung Meanchey bridge next to the Lu Station,
residents at the scene said they heard two gunshots fired when a man was wounded by a bullet in his left leg.
According to the victim's description, he had been walking on foot in the north-south direction when he saw the suspect wearing a black jacket sitting on an unidentified motorcycle and carrying a gun. The suspect fired on the victim before fleeing on his motorbike.

Police who were called to the scene questioned the victim, who said that he knew the identity of the shooter, and there was a problem between the two men.
