The VIP terminal is separate to, and just before the main terminal, with its own parking. I gather business traffic is fairly healthy by comparison with regular SLF stuff.

I’m female and not into cars. I didn’t know what an Escalade is. Will the people he’s meeting know?
I would have said merc but having now googled Escalade, I’d opt for that because it looks robust (maybe I should have been a gangster’s moll - or a gangster) - the exception being if the party is familiar with them and they have a reputation less than a merc (zero reputation to me - which can be a positive)
…. I’m sure I’ve contributed positively and really swayed your thinking, OP

Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Why not just rent a tip-top limo for this "special" occasion? No need to worry what which of your own car to use. Just a one off expenses. Should even throw in 3-4 police motorcycle escort to sweeten the day.
Re: weird question but I have my reasons
yeah have my PA onto all that she is well connected and we have Col at the airport will be assisting her.mannanman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 17, 2022 1:32 pm Also VVIP in Cambodia would be HE (plus people immediately under him) and the Royal family. I doubt you'd be allowed to pick them up!
Also, if you are operating at that high level you should have some PA to sort out all this crap as I guarantee you will fuck it up.
Re: weird question but I have my reasons
Actually true story when two of The Khmer VIP came to visit in Philippines we had my brand spanker Toyota land cruiser and our 400 SL merc with exactly 4 police cycle escort from MNL all the way to Subic compliments of the guy that is coming here from manila . I could maybe arrange the motorcade, but I feel they are a bit of a wank to be honest and the guy coming would prefer lower key and not draw such attention. I am not gonna shell out the $$$ they want for high end Maybach rent a car when what I have is fine IMHO I am not at their level, nowhere close, they know it and I want them to understand that. It was just the choice of which car would be more suited at that Khmer level and I am gonna be the driver. I've met them all before but the setting was different, I could have arrived in a tuk tuk.
Still a little torn Escalade has the space to spread out but Merc s probably gonna win and easier to park

Escalade. The 400 merc is too small.

Re: weird question but I have my reasons
Apologies as this story is off the main topic (Mercedes by the way) but worth throwing in for a laugh.
When I was working at a military base back in Australia we had the then president of Indonesia arrive in his government aircraft. Unfortunately no one was advised that his wife was wheel chair bound and we did not have any ground support equipment to allow her to disembark apart from aircraft stairs which were useless for this task. In the end an aircraft pallet (108" x 88" and flat with no sides) was secured to the tines of a forklift and raised to the passenger door and the First Lady was wheeled out very bloody carefully onto the pallet and then her wheelchair was secured by aircraft straps to the pallet. Obviously everyone breathed a sigh of relief when she on the ground and thankfully she thought it was a great experience and was smiling and laughing throughout the whole process. The party flew out a few days later using the same procedure in reverse. We never did find out how she boarded the aircraft in Jakarta or disembarked when they went back but I'm sure it wasn't via our method.
Best of luck on the day Ozinasia and hope it goes smoothly and I'm sure your friend will appreciate and understand the effort you've made.
