Theoretical test is 40 questions, you need to get 35 right. Questions are tricky.
Practical is driving around the course. What they really check for is the 5-second stop at every stop sign, quite a few people failed that. Finish with weaving through some traffic cones. You are allowed to put the foot done twice or three times (sorry cannot remember exactly), but that part was easy.

That written test is crazy. I downloaded the app got two different practice tests so unsure which questions will be on the real test and if you get any wrong they dont say which ones oe give correct answer. Some are extremely easy others dont make much sense. Its all dumb to me because drivers here usually do whatever they want and I see 8 yr Olds driving motorbikes.
Im confident i can pass the driving part. Dont want to do the written test ... wish i could just pay someone off avoid that part. I have a cdl license from usa for like 15 years. I can drive anything

What I am telling you: you need to learn it by heart. Took me 2 weeks.Zyzz wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 2:19 pm That written test is crazy. There was an online test i found that tells correct answers... guess ill have to memorize. Giving the tester there a 50 bill would be so much easier.

Still answering questions on that website. Up to like 226... how many on test 35 40 questions?

No wonder why I failed practice test because US driving laws are vastly different from Cambodian driving laws. What's strange that with left turns under US driving laws always last. Drivers going straight get priority absent of stop signs/lights. Cambodian driving law, it sort of puzzle as you turn left first stop in middle of intersection, while another car go straight. US driving law forbids stopping in any intersection.
Few other examples what is road. US driving laws consider road as you drive on. Cambodian driving laws includes sidewalk, canal, shipping lanes as road. I agree with others, you better off not getting driving exam in Cambodia.

Exactly. Cambodia emphasizes the priority to the right rule way more than many other countries. I passed my test, first time round as I diligently studied these rules prior to undertaking the test.JF wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 2:03 pmNo wonder why I failed practice test because US driving laws are vastly different from Cambodian driving laws. I found the theory the hardest, as some questions just didn't make sense. Once you memorize them, it becomes quite straightforward though.

Did you undertake the car and motorcycle tests on the same day? If so, did you have to take the motorcycle theory test separate to the car one?
When I did my test, I only saw cars. There were no motorcycles at the testing center and no one did a motorcycle test.
Is the motorcycle license also valid for 10 years?
