I absolutely adore the British Crime dramas, such as Midsomer Murders, Rosemary and Thyme, Inspector Morse etc.
if that's your thing, look at this channel on YouTube, he has awesome stuff.

For British crime dramas, line of duty is very good.

Also bodyguard a few years ago was worth a watch. Although both very different to rosemary and thyme

John Cleese. Absolute gent.
Watch some Pathé news from yesteryear, before all this internet malarkey.

Or watch snatch to find ou’ ‘ow the villains speak.
I think England has as many varieties of English as the French have recipes for Un Haricot vert.

Whatever you do, do not acquire any spoken English from a scot, and especially not a weegie. They’re nearly as incomprehensible as the welsh, but with few letters.

If it’s the Queen’s (Now the King’s English, once again) that is of interest, then take a gander at The King’s Speech.
Snatch & King's Speech, done & redone since long.

We don't have that much recipes for haricot verts, try pommes de terre, muuuuch more results.

When i speak Scot i just do it a la Christophe Lambert in Highlander, as all Frogs do of course ^^

Rosemary and Thyme was quite different hey, very girly crime show.

I'll look for Line of Duty, is it on Netflix?

I enjoy most things starring Stephen Fry. "A bit of Fry and Laurie", "Jeeves & Wooster", "Blackadder" of course. Also some of his debates and talks. All available on YouTube.

I can handle about half a Russell video per week, I respect the guy and his views but he's far too energetic to listen to regularly. One guy who's videos I watch religiously is Paul Joseph Watson..

https://youtu.be/ZJqm176I054

He has 2 channels on YT, Paul Joseph Watson and the other is called Anything Goes.

Other than that I'll stick with my trusty panel shows, Would I Lie to You, Have I got news for you, QI (Stephen Fry), 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown, Taskmaster.. and just started getting into I Literally Just Told You, but takes a little more concentration to keep up with that one.

Stand up from Sean Lock and Lee Mack never goes a miss eithet
