They are so strict with there people who play a bit of cards usually for a little reil wining's, cock fighting and so on. I know that also for some it brings crime and missery into the family life.
But if it is so, being so strict, although this is the biggest sweep I have seen. But why not go the full hog and at least get rid of some casino's.

Gambling Employees Rush to Escape
Cambodia Breaking News, (Phnom Penh): According to the Khmer news outlet CEN, at 4:30pm this afternoon, on 19 September, many Vietnamese and Chinese people, together with some Cambodians, panicked and ran out of a condominium building, located along Street 371, Sala K Building, Sangkat Stung Meanchey III, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.
It appears that the Sala K condominium was being used for quite some time to conduct online gambling business, where foreigners were employed illegally, but until now, the Meanchey authorities have turned a blind eye to this. In fact, before the authorities could visit to investigate the illegal gambling in the condominium, the foreign and Cambodian workers left the building and ran away. They had heard about the Prime Minister's announcement to crack down on all gambling, and they were frightened of being arrested. Local people were surprised to see so many foreigners running out of the building.
