RIP Roy Richardson from Kampot

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. It is with a heavy heart that I tell everyone the sad news that Roy Richardson aka Brother Roy passed away yesterday.
The reason I am putting this information here is because he was so well known in Cambodia, after many years living in the Kingdom that there's too many people to contact that knew and loved him.
I will post more details regarding his funeral as I get them for those that would like to pay their respects.
The world has lost a real good one 😔
PEACE AND LOVE ✌️❤️

Condolences to friends and family.

R.I.P - Roy lived in SHV for a very extended period before moving to Kampot in recent years. He had been the former US consul in Sihanoukville and would be very well known and liked by many

Ah, that's where I know him from. I think we played trivia on the same team at Charlie Harper's years back.

Rip.

RIP, brother Roy.
A pleasant drinking companion and one of the old crowd from SHV.
