Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: At 12 midnight on September 3, 2022, there was a case of a man suspected of being drunk driving a RANGE ROVER, license plate Y.CTF.99, at high speed along 1986 Street in Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh,colliding with a a motorcycle, a tuktuk and three cars, in front of Dot Nightclub, causing severe damage to the vehicles.

Before the incident, a man was seen driving a black RANGE ROVER with Cambodian license plate Y.CTF.99 traveling along 1986 Road from east to west at high speed when he collided head on with a black ADV motorcycle with license plate Phnom Penh 1IG-8811, injuring two men. The car driver refused to stop, and drove off at high speed before crashing into a tuktuk and breaking both of the tuktuk driver's legs.


The Range Rover continued, hitting another car, while being chased by Sen Sok police. Then, at the Phnom Penh-Hanoi road, the drunk driver hit another two cars before breaking his windscreen and coming to a halt.

A crowd of angry people gathered, and as the authorities tried to take the driver into custody, he began to fight back before being subdued and taken to Sen Sok police station for questioning.
