Cambodia News, Siem Reap Province: The Siem Reap Provincial Administration has issued a letter of instruction to stop the unofficial gathering in Siem Reap province, and ordered the disbandment of the Coalition for Democracy meeting by August 30, 2022 at 24:00. This was confirmed by Mr. Khim Finang, Governor of Banteay Srei District, Siem Reap Province, on the evening of August 30, 2022.

Mr. Khim Finang said that the Tbeng commune administration has further recommended that the Coalition for Democracy places a request before the Ministry of Interior if it wants to organize a future meeting of its party members.

Furthermore, the meeting places and accommodations were found to be unsuitable for the participation of minors under 18 years of age, and are also overcrowded, posing a serious risk to public health, including the spread of the Covid 19 virus.

Maybe he should have gone to Pakistan to announce this, with their current situation I think there would be at least 20 million rather than 20,000 believing he's right

I don't care if they believe the shit or not, but there's a whole world between believing this shit and actually leaving home heading to the f@cking farm.

Summary of the situation:

Cambodia News, Siem Reap Province: Tea Seiha, the governor of Siem Reap province, confirmed to Fresh News at midnight on August 30 that the authorities had decided to close the gathering place of Khem Veasna, president of the Coalition Party for Democracy, from 12 midnight onwards, and barricades have been put in place. Authorities have been instructed to remain calm and some followers have left the property of their own free will.

Khem Veasna, who has established himself as Brahma and King of the Earth, has announced a populist propaganda that there will be a flood that will flood the entire earth, except for his farmland in Sor Sey village, Tbeng commune, Banteay Srei district. Therefore, Mr. Khem Veasna announced to mobilize his followers from the provinces and from abroad, including inciting Cambodian workers working in Korea and other countries to leave their jobs and their homes and come to his farm. However, there is no flood in Siem Reap to this day.
Image
In the evening of August 30, 2022, Mr. Khem Veasna, who looks like a person with severe mental health problems, posted a text message on Facebook, insulting the top leadership, Samdech Techo HE.
Image
In reply, HE has called on the authorities to remain calm and not be tempted into violence. The Prime Minister has also made a public apology to South Korea, Thailand and Japan, for the migrant workers who left their jobs to gather at the farm of Khem Veasna. He asks that all Cambodian workers will not be judged by the actions of a few, and encourages sanctions only against the workers who left without permission.

There are still thousands of followers at the farm.

Sometimes, I think people like David Koresh were mere amateurs in the apocalypse cults.

Cambodia News, Siem Reap province: Khmer news outlets report that Cambodian workers abroad stopped working in order to join the nearly 20,000 people taking refuge at Khem Veasna's property at the foot of Kulen Mountain. The Ministry of Labor stated that due to Khem Veasna, a total of more than 500 Cambodian workers, including more than 400 in South Korea and more than 100 in Japan, have quit their jobs to return to Cambodia, and even a medical student stopped studying overseas and returned home because of the prophecy of coming disaster.

Image
The Prime Minister of Cambodia has ordered the Governor of Siem Reap, Mr. Tea Seiha, to arrange transportation for the people who were cheated by Mr. Khem Veasna and his false prophecy, and who do not have the means to return to their home provinces. Army trucks will provide transport, and in addition, food and water has been prepared for them, and Mr. Khem Veasna has been asked to allow the people to go home.
