Expired visa, expired passport, not an ideal position to be in.

Why do people do this ?
Why not follow the official procedures if you want to live in Cambodia ?
Why not follow the official procedures if you want to live in Cambodia ?

When someone who isn't destitute or a druggie lets their passport expire, my primary suspicion would be legal trouble back home that prevents them from applying for a new one.

It's often the case of "If they could, they would."jaynewcastle wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 1:35 pm Why do people do this ?

Shit happens, and there's more reason than one that prevents people from "following official procedures" here, whether it be issues here or back home or both.

Always surprises me when I see Japanese, South Korean or Chinese passport holders who have overstayed their Visas, especially considering they are eligible for 1/2/3 year Visa EOS's, unlike the rest of us who can only get 12 month maximum at a time.
