Should I get PR for 350 trees planted?

I feel neglected. The KT is saying how awesome 700 trees are going to help the impoverished ecosystem to replenish the primary forest.

Should I, or many of us, be given medals and honors too? On a simple hectacre, I plamted 350 trees years ago. Where is my PR for rejuvenenating a sunken rice paddy?

When my kids say they brushed their teeth, I ask if they want a cookie for their incredible accomplishment. They needs a cookie me thinks.

well done..probably this just offset a tiny tiny percentage of the air pollution you produced over your life. Still better than all those of us who never planted anything,

I had a 4,500 tree plantation and no recognition, and I was SMALL compared to my "neighbours" in the area. I was on roughly 80 hectares, some farms were several thousand with higher density as well.

But recognition really doesn't matter, especially if those doing the recognizing have no idea about anything other than politics and optics.

There was an article today about two "intrepid" guys riding ~3000km through all 25 provinces on motorbikes... Some days are slow news days I guess.
