Confused about Smart Cellphone plans

Hello,

Coming back to KOW after Covid I checked the plans from Smart.
Seems like the thommong plan is a steal if you stay for a month and is much better then the surf like crazy.

Have i missed something?

I use it, $1 a week and very rarely run out of data (and you can add on another $100 worth for 30c if you do). Same goes for the other half and she is endlessly watching the dubbed Thai soaps or whatever they are.
