Man's Body Sighted Floating Under Phnom Penh Bridge
Cambodia News Phnom Penh: On the afternoon of 19 August 2022, at around 3pm, the corpse of a man was seen floating down the river under the Chbar Ampov Bridge in Phnom Penh, which came as an unexpected shock for the local residents, who called the police in the commune.
It is not yet known why the corpse was in the river, or whether it was due to an accident, suicide, or foul play. The authorities were observed retrieving the body from the water, which they then took away in order to conduct an autopsy according to the legal procedures.
