Re: One-way Airline tickets
I will fly with Singapor air from Milan to PP on January with one way ticket without any visa and because airlines are becoming more tough I'll be buying a real ticket from PP to BKK by vietjet air or sky angkor for having no problem. I know I will not use maybe but risk all my trip with onwadticket that is only reservation code for 40$ less is not for me. Living in Cambodia now this saving is not much anymore, maybe was 10 years ago.Kenr wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 12:23 am I decided screw it. I was going to wait until at the airport, then use the onward travel if need be, but decided to just book Thai Air Asia to Bangkok through Expedia for $63. That onward travel was only good for 48 hours, unless you wanted to pay more for a 14-day confirmation, so I decided to pay the extra $ for a real ticket. Better to be safe than sorry I guess.

Well, just checked in here at Houston Intercontinental Airport, was never asked anything about a return/onward flight. See what happens when I leave out of Changi Airport.

never was, BUT airlines sometimes check for the finale arrival point if the passenger complies with visa regulationstruffledog wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 10:32 pmreturn/onward flight is NOT a requirement for entering/staying in SIngapore.

Never said it was, just transiting through. Not required for Cambodia. But some airlines, from what I’ve read on here, will require it. Flying Singapore Airlines to Cambodia, they never asked me at IAH for an onward ticket like I thought they might.truffledog wrote: ↑Wed Nov 09, 2022 10:32 pmreturn/onward flight is NOT a requirement for entering/staying in SIngapore.
Re: One-way Airline tickets
Slightly off topic.
I arrived yesterday from Canada on EVA Air. I had a returned ticket so no hassle there. What they hassle me on was my visa for Cambodia.
The lady at check-in said I needed a valid visa for entry to Cambodia and was going to deny me to check-in. I told her that Cambodia will issue me visa on arrival. She had to check with her supervisor before she check me in.
This MAY also cause issue for those getting a VOA. Good thing for me the supervisor was on the ball. Just thought I will throw that out there for others to consider if they are applying for a VOA. I didn't have any information on me that said Cambodia has resumed the VOA program.

Re: One-way Airline tickets
The problem with getting a visa online is they will only give you a tourist one, unless you are from Taiwan. Fine if your stay is going to be 30-60 days, but if you plan to stay longer you will need an ordinary visa (or be prepared to do a visa run).Newinkow wrote: ↑Thu Nov 10, 2022 6:46 pm Slightly off topic.

Anyway, welcome to Cambodia.
Re: One-way Airline tickets
Well I’m here. All the way through on Singapore Airlines, IAH-MAN-SIN-PNH, I was never asked for an onward/return ticket. So the $63 I spent was for insurance I guess, LOL.
Upon leaving Changi Airport to Phnom Penh we had to wear masks on that flight and while at PNH Airport. Not sure what that was all about but the airline provided the masks free of charge and the plane landed at 08:40 and I was in my taxi at 09:15 with an Ordinary Visa.
