It happened; RIP AndyKK

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

It happened; RIP AndyKK

Post by AndyKK »

Anything can happen here! It's a long story, but I will write it out later when I can concentrate more on this nightmare position I find myself in. My landlord gave my room to another person, I have less than one month to move my thing's of 4 years, because I am sick. I am now in hospital for the second time, laid up in bed hoping for treatment.
I can't walk, infact I can't get out of bed.
I am lucky I have employed daily help, it's not cheap like all may think! Could cost $1000 per month. But I can't get anywhere without her help. Be prepared like I say, anything can happen.

Sorry to hear that you are in the hospital Andy. Be interested to hear what happened. As you say, you never know.
Your landlord sounds like an A-hole.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. AM

Would the NHS help you if you got to the UK, or is travel not an option?

Sorry to hear this. Sounds like things are pretty bad for you at the moment, but you're right - anything can happen at any time to any of us. I think it's something we all think about from time to time but try to keep in the back of our minds.

I really hope things work out for you and I'm interested to know more.

Oh man, definitely get back to the UK when you can. That doesn't look like a good position to be in at all.
