Maybe working on the maturity to...
1) Not allow yourself to get into that kind situation with an abusive person.
2) Not being the kind of person to plunge a knife into someone from an emotional outburst, or spend a year quarreling over a stupid tablet.
Those would be a good start.

C'mon guys, you never had your khmer girlfriend point a knife at your neck? I bought her this long pairing knife, whatever those are called, with an orange handle and she's just starin fire, so i GRAB her wrist, take the knife and just throw it over the banana trees into the street. The other khmer girls seem more amused than worried, and the old german goes on with his casual moaning about how his construction workers stole ten thousand dollars from him, from a cigar box or something located on the site..

I completely understand the level of frustration. I once smashed a brand new iPad on a bar counter top because my asshole ex wouldn't give me the code to unlock it. I got the iPad in the split (since I paid for it) but what the c87t did was lock it, so I couldn't use it. I spent a year paying people to unlock it, sent him emails trying to negotiate for him to give me the code and eventually just walked into the lady bar he was managing at the time. I literally begged him for the code and he refused to give it to me, and threatened to call the police on me when I started crying (from pure frustration).
So I smashed the iPad a couple of times on the bar until sparks flew out of it and then threw it at him and told him to keep the fucking thing.
You just feel furious and powerless and do stupid things in that moment. Luckily I was only armed with an iPad.
We met in Australia when he had his own business. When we moved over here I was the breadwinner. So when I was making plans to exit the situation, I organised a job for him, running a normal bar, Downstairs at Oscar's. He lost that opportunity after we broke up, through very bad management, and ended up managing a bar on 136. Last I heard he's back driving taxis in Australia.

Of course that would have be nicest thing to do, but people tend to become not so nice when they're requested to do stuff they don't want to do.
Easiest way would be to prevent to get in a situation like this. Don't send any spicy pica's, but if you do, make sure it's hard to trace the picture back to you by sending more or less 'anonymous' pics.

Don't assault people with deadly weapons unless it's in self defence. It is not a hard concept to grasp.
They are both very lucky she didn't kill him and she would be facing 30 years in prison.
She is not the victim here, he is, and no amount of spin will make her one.

He had photos of her, sent when she thought they were in love. Now they are not and he refuses to delete the photos.
It has the potential to shame her to all her friends and family, and all she wants, is for him to delete the photos.
But he won't.
He just refuses.
Her life could be ruined and he doesn't give a shit enough to delete the photos.
All he needs to do is delete the fucking photo but he absolutely WILL NOT.
Sounds to me like he's a bully.
