One TV. Is it still in business? Did they do a runner?

Post by Phnom Krom »

I paid for a one year One TV subscription in August. It worked for a day before having to call to reset. Then the same thing everyday for the first week. Then it seemed to work for about 2 to 3 months before it just stopped.

I received no calls from the company and saw no press releases.

I called a while ago and they said no service for all Phnom Penh until they fix some tower in Prek Kdam? or something. I asked how long and they said "not know".

Any insights out there? Same thing for you or? Been out for months already. Bye bye upfront luy!

Oh, they graciously offered for me to buy a red sattelite dish....as I hung up.

PPCTV works fine. Other good options?

I was with them for about 4 years from 2016. I mainly watched their movie channels of which they had several and GF liked some of the khmer channels. Then over the years, they started dropping english movie channels and seemed to replace them with more chinese ones. GF stopped watching her stuff too. The writing was on the wall for me.

Funny thing is they used to call me when I missed a monthly payment and then when I stopped altogether, never heard from them again. Go figure..

One TV has got worse and worse over the years. I have sent a PM about an alternative I use that may be of interest.

That works but it's not very elegant. And 20mbs is far more than you need.
