What would be fun for a blind guy ?

Post by Ghostwriter »

I've met one, he's a 30 something cool guy, i'm wondering what kind of cool move i could pop to entertain him (place your dirty jokes here just like i would), so, apart from the classic hooker movie move (he's married and happy) and the surprise-bungee jump (come on that's nasty), what brilliant idea would you put in motion to please someone who used to see, but doesn't anymore since 20 years ?

I was thinking surprise-go-to-the-sea-without telling, but that was an easy classic one. I bet some of you have more original schemes, doable, not too expensive.
Any ideas ?

Frog & Frogland. It's a totally Frog story, but the idea is international, so, there is room for various ideas, conceptual or very precised, whatever can work...It would be useful elsewhere, these damn blind people are all around the world !

Take him shopping in his own home town, after midnight during a electrical blackout. He's going to laugh his head off at you stumbling around in the dark.

It almost sounds like catering for a child, but if this is ideas anywhere in the world…

If he can swim, and is comfortable floating about, Dolphins.

A reptile/snake house, where you get physical contact.
In a similar vein, if in Phnom Penh, ten minutes/a few hours working alongside a seeing hands masseuse, catering for female clients only.
(Ten minutes because of the gag reflex, a few hours because it might get interesting)

Pottery.
Blind driving. (Controlled environment)

Viewer discretion. One of the above may be tongue in cheek.

A day at a recording studio
A night out at many of the venues with music (depending on genre he likes)
A walk along smelly street
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

maybe would be interesting experience

zipline places outside pp
the evening show at the museum - very intense atmospehere.
food tasting /market tour - include the fried insects too
offroad buggy in kirriom (as a passenger )
hiking + waterfalls

Cant remember the name but in Ratanakiri there is an elephant sanctuary , can touch the /feed the elephants and walk with them through the forest . You can "swim" with the elephants - day tour and included nice lunch next to a waterfall. The one I went to didn´t allow riding elephants and the animals were treated very well lived in the open forest ( from what I could see) just be careful in choosing a real ethical place.
