In reality it's a mix of businesses in the center of town.
Some bars provide only beer and music and have no ' working girls' . Sprinkled about are ' lady bars'. Some also provide food.
Motorbike rentals, straight restaurants and supermarkets also feature in the mix.
It's a great mix with something for everyone.
The ' girly bars ' provide employment and much of the money earned goes back to the villages to support children and elderly parents. These bars only make many people happy. Including me!!!!!!!

I often wonder what Cambodia would look like touristwise if there be no casinos, no girlie bars and beer prices starting 5$ a pop.Plan B wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 10:45 am In reality it's a mix of businesses in the center of town.

Phnon Pehn would still be a city for the Chinese to laundry their $$ in Malls & condos
rest of the country would revert to pre KR times

That said, nobody needs to see a picture of 17 fat alcoholic light fingered, toothy, 40 something, pot bellied, grizzled, veteran "hostesses" squinting at the camera in front of "sweethearts" bar while they are scrolling their FB Feed over cornflakes at 7amPlan B wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 10:45 am In reality it's a mix of businesses in the center of town.
