Bad Weather Lands German Helicopter Pilot in Kampong Chhnang

Bad Weather Lands German Helicopter Pilot in Kampong Chhnang

Cambodia News (Kompong Chhnang Province): On July 7, 2022, at 7:15 pm in Prek Rang village, Teuk Hot commune, Rolea Ba'ear district, a German pilot called Andy landed a helicopter by the river in an emergency landing due to bad weather, on the way back to Sovanna Phum Hotel in Kompong Chhnang province.

According to the German pilot, he was operating the helicopter alone from Phnom Penh and intended to go to Siem Reap province, when he was forced to land because of the weather. According to the police, the pilot was cleared to fly again to Siem Reap province the next day, and left on the morning of July 8.
