Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On 2 July 2022, the body of a man was found floating at 8:30 am on the river in front of the Prek Pra Pagoda, Ang Andong Village, Sangkat Prek Pra, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh.
Authorities have not yet confirmed identification relating to the deceased, but noted that the man was dressed in navy blue jeans without a shirt, and they concluded that the body was that of a Vietnamese man who jumped to his death on the Monivong Bridge, Sangkat Chbar Ampov, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh on the night of 1 July 2022.

The corpse of the deceased was extracted from the water by the Prek Pra Sangkat Police Force in cooperation with the Chbar Ampov District Special Forces and the specialized force of the Technical and Forensic Bureau of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police for verification by the competent experts.
The body is currently being kept at Wat Prek Pra while relatives of the deceased man are being sought by police.
