Yeah, does seem odd. Especially, as I seem to be able to go back multiple years within the app. Previously, when they had the desk top web application, I gather one could've easily downloaded as required but now that is defunct. Also, in the app if you press and hold 1 transaction, say to a particular person, then it comes up with an option to list all the TXs to that person and take screenshots albeit not official looking. You can also save a pdf of a particular TX that looks more official but only 1 at a time.Alex wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 12:11 pmWhile it does seem odd that they cannot produce a statement that covers a full year, at the very least, are there really countries that ask for more than 6 months history when applying for a visa?Clutch Cargo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 9:54 am So we got the official stamped bank statements easily, the only thing is they said they only give a transaction history to a maximum of 6 months. I asked her twice whether we can have longer but no. Mentioned it was for visa purposes and she even said other foreigners had got the same for the same purpose and was OK. $2 per statement but free if less than 4 pages.
So far I've encountered the following requirements: Just the current balance, 3 months, 6 months. Never seen or heard anyone being asked for more than 6 months.
Anyway, yes it sounds like 6 months is adequate enough

Are you sure. I use ACLEDA and their app will go back only 6 months. I am sure they can produce a statement going further back but the app can't.Clutch Cargo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 12:32 pmYeah, does seem odd. Yeah, just checked. With ABA app, I can go back all the way since I opened the account in November 2016. With Acleda app, I can go back 12 mths to 1 July 2021.Kammekor wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 12:36 pmAre you sure. I use ACLEDA and their app will go back only 6 months. I can go back 6 months with ACLEDA app, but can download more (up to one year) with the app. But that's a 'savings' account.Clutch Cargo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 28, 2022 3:08 pm
