2 Vietnamese Men Arrested For Drugging French Female Tourist

Two Vietnamese men were caught by a group of Tuk Tuk drivers after they drugged a female French tourist

Phnom Penh: Two Vietnamese men were caught by a group of Tuk Tuk drivers and were later handed over to the police in Tonle Basak police station, after they drugged a female French tourist around 2:20 am on 21 May 2015 at the Dragon Fountain roundabout along sothearous street located in Tonle Basak commune, Chamkarmon district.

According to the witnesses, before the incident, there was a female French tourist sitting alone on a bench, then two Vietnamese guys came and sat close to her . After that they were trying to seduce her and managed to get her take 3 unspecified drugs. As a result, she lost control of herself.

Having seen this, a group of Tuk Tuk drivers intervened and caught them and later called the police to come to take them for questioning.

According to witnesses at the scene said that before they saw French women sitting on a bench at the point scene then saw a man 2 Vietnamese came to sit by and say Luon lomneang and taking sedatives (3) make the victim lost consciousness immediately, and has been run three wheels, they arrested 2 men The above and call the cops to get to Missouri.

The same witness said that Vietnamese woman swallowed, do not know what drugs and what kind, but just sedatives make a woman mad. After the incident, the victim and the suspect was arrested and taken to police for questioning tattoo.

She lost her country? What does that mean? It would be nice to have the khmer original for reasons like this. If we had the khmer word, we could use other resources to identify it or maybe some of our posters who read khmer (or are khmer) would be able to explain... but losing a country? Is it losing a passport? Is it losing virginity?

Needs a lot more info, indeed. But accepting/buying drugs from strangers in a strange country? How idiotic was that! Unless of course, she regularly bought from these guys and the one time they tried to take advantage of her. Too many variables in this incident.

Let's all just wait for the results of the "questioning tattoo" once they get the victim "to Missouri" before we make any snap judgments.

I think she was drunk. 2:20am and found on a bench...

Yeah, a big :thumb: to the tuktuk drivers, who butted in when they could have just hung around and watched the action.
Tuktuk drivers are much maligned in general, often piss you off badly, but a lot of them are good guys.

Sounds like this girl is bloody lucky! Lone female, sitting on a bench at 0220hrs, most likely drunk/drugged already...very bad drills. Thank goodness for her that there were some tuk-tuk drivers around to intervene!
