Cambodia News Phnom Penh: On the evening of June 21, 2022, the decomposing body of a homeless man, who disappeared about a week ago, was found by some fishermen in a car tire in the Tonle Sap River in Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh.
Residents living near the scene said that on the afternoon when one of them cast his eyes on the waters a tire was seen floating about 5 meters from the shore. Seeing there was a body of a man in the tire, they went to retrieve it and reported to the village chief to contact the police.

The villagers said that the deceased was a homeless drug addict called Khmao, who was about 30 years old, and was staying in a hut on the banks of the Tonle Sap River. About a week ago, the man disappeared and was not found, but then his body surfaced while floating in the waters.
Authorities found no evidence to indicate the reason for his death. The corpse was found lying on the car tire of the car, with his left leg out. Finally, the authorities said the cause of death was impossible to determine from the autospy, due to the advanced decomposition of the body.
RIP
