Pls help me to find a guest house in PP

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Pls help me to find a guest house in PP

Post by ^[.~]*|=:\/>[] »

I’m looking for a decentralized guest house with restaurant in Phnom Penh. I would prefer if the owner is neither Cambodian, nor English, nor Australian because I run regularly into problems with these guys. Any recommendation would be deeply appreciated.

Decentralised as in a franchise guest house, our something not in the middle of sisowath quay?

Who are you trying to avoid: Backpackers, flashbacks, sexpats, deathpats, methpats, or expats? The answer will help us provide a suitable recommendation.

Look for guesthouses with foreign names, flying foreign flags outside ? Do you have any preferences ?
There is a resort place outside of PP run by a barang - or used to be.

You just described my neighbors in every place I've lived in Phnom Penh. Image

It might be easier if you give us a list of nationalities you DON'T have problems with, and we take it from there...

Yes, it is a combination of what he said and how he said it that has lead me to this conclusion.
