Owner of Candy Pepper, Kampot, Rushed to Thai Hospital

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

For information. From the Kampot Noticeboard social media page; the Candy Pepper bar in Kampot is raising funds for the Belgian owner, who was rushed to a hospital in Bangkok with a medical emergency.

Please support Gillou who had abdominal aortic aneurysm, stomach stroke in Kampot and was rushed to Bangkok hospital in Thailand in bad condition. Unfortunately without international insurance. Gillou has always been a good artist and interior designer for 25 years in Asia. Gillou also has 2 children in Thailand Charleen 18 and Sunny 6.
To support him you can come have a drink at Candy Pepper kampot who makes the best mojito in town for $2.00 and half roasted chicken for $5.5
We don't stop celebrating and of course praying for his fast recovery.
We also have rooms to rent starting at $15
You can also donate to this bank ABA Cambodia;

Sorry to hear. Visited and liked the place before

At least it was a Thai hospital. Wouldn't have been so easy to do that last year.
