Traffic Policeman Caught Driving Drunk on Duty
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On the morning of June 14, 2022, a traffic police officer (whose identity wasn't revealed), was disciplined for breaking the law and violating his duty after he was seen and reported drink-driving. He was captured and went viral on a live streaming on Facebook.
The officer was suspended from work for 3 months with a written warning letter, but must show up and sign in at the staff office every day. The authorities encourage the public to document or film and report law enforcement officers seen breaking the law while on duty.
