January 6th Committee Public Hearings

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

I am quite shocked to find myself in agreement with Ann Coulter, first time for everything. Kudos to her for having the courage to change her position based on the facts.
Good on you!

Seriously, Ms. Coulter is an attorney and argues as such. Her writing is chock-full of data supporting her arguments. She has been consistent, Trump has not.

Cant seem to load any video. If you search youtube, Ray Epps you will find videos where he is clearly telling people they have to go in the capitol. He is an agent provocateur clearly stirring up the protesters.
The whole thing was political theater and the "hearings " are designed to sway voters in the midterms and beyond.

Ray Epps urged protestors to go into the Capitol on the night of January 5, and whispered in Ryan Samsel's ear right before Samsel breeched the first perimeter barrier. Though initially on the FBI's 20 most wanted capitol suspects list, Epps has not been arrested

....."we need to go into the capital"!!!

what a bunch of misinformed assholes being led by a man who supported the American democratic system for 4 years and than went on to say the election was stolen from him when he clearly lost

how can anyone justify him and support him?

What did they really think would happen when they stormed the building?
that the congress would agree with him and say, "yes.,your right, the election was stolen from you" :please: :please:
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Yes, the 60-year old wedding and event planner and a die-hard Trump supporter from Arizona who had ties to the Oath Keepers was an FBI agent. Kind of a stretch.

This clown never entered the Capitol, not sure if anyone who didn’t try to enter or didn’t assault anyone was arrested or not. Should have he been arrested? Probably. But neither has the former POTUS.

Just imagine if they would have put even half this effort into an actual investigation into voter fraud and ballot stuffing. Instead, any question of illegitimacy is some wild partisan conspiracy theory because people are scared of what it might uncover.

It’s just sad that liberals believing in the Big Lie (Russian collusion) could get a special investigation by Mueller based on Hillary’s piss dossier, but Americans seeing fraud with their own eyes as the results come in are told to just deal with it. Even the most partisan person should want their side to win legitimately and be eager to prove it.

The GOP spent millions of dollars investigating voter fraud and found nothing substantial. The DOL under the former POTUS investigated and found no widespread voter fraud. What else is needed?

Okay, watched the first and second video posted above and happy to concede (in the second) he is indeed on film urging people to go inside the capitol on (what appears to be) the evening before.

BUT, what does that prove? That he was an idiot believing Trumps lies about a stolen election and got carried away. How does it in anyway prove he was some sort of agent provocateur? People in the second video are shouting that at him, I imagine people have shouted that at a loads of people, doesn't make it true. I expect he wasn't arrested because it's unlikely the FBI are interested in him mouthing off the night before when they have hundreds of people to prosecute for ACTUALLY storming the capitol.

As for the first video, there is no way anyone can come to a conclusion on what was said, to posit that it's "evidence" of him getting people to storm the capitol is laughable, truly. You could make up anything you want and believe it's true, ridiculous.

The second one where he's talking to the guy is fully consistent with what he told the FBI and I posted above, nothing in it proves he didn't just tell the guy to calm down. Just because he said something the night before doesn't mean he didn't say what BOTH of the guys in the video swore to law inforcement he said. It's just ridiculous conspiritorial thinking.

I prefer to believe the sworn testimony of his family, members of his administration, judges he appointed, lawyers who argued Bush vs Gore in 2001 (ALL REPUBLICAN), they all wanted him to win, admit he didn't and describe his attempts to subvert your legal and political system to cling on to power, all whilst scamming his own supporters out of millions of dollars.

It's a joke how desperate you are to fool yourselves that somehow everyone else is lying and Trumps telling the truth.
