Cambodia News, (Battambang Province): An Indian man was arrested by Kamrieng District Police at 4:30 pm on 8 June 2022, in a case of breach of trust. This is according to the information source from the Battambang Provincial Police released on the morning of Thursday, June 9, 2022.

According to the report, Lieutenant Colonel Wei Kimchat, Kamrieng District Police Chief, led a specialized force to implement the arrest warrant No. 213/22, issued on 16 May 2022, by Mr. Ath Chandara, a 23-year-old male judge of the Kandal Provincial Court. He ordered the arrest of SAHANT KUNT U, an Indian national residing at Orda Leu village, Boeung Reang commune, Kamrieng district, Battambang province, on charges of breach of trust committed in Kandal province in 2021.
So far, there are no further details concerning the charges, but the Indian man, on the morning of Thursday, June 9, was sent by the police to the office to follow the procedure.
