My bad. It did sound outrageous. Still a significant increase though, but gas prices fluctuate all the time.nemo wrote:no. I just paid $18 last weekBitte_Kein_Lexus wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 7:33 pmCooking gas used to be around $12 for 12kg and I heard it's gone up to $50 now. Living costs and inflation are definitely up here as well. Even the price of eggs has gone up considerably.John Bingham wrote:Gasoline has gone up about 46 cents a liter since the start of the year - from $0.92 to $1.38. That's about a 50% increase and is bound to have knock on effects on the price of other goods.

Food prices have been steadily climbing too.

Strange. Mid march 2022 LPG went up at least 500-600r per liter (filling bottles goes per KG so the increase per KG will be almost double) and the price never came down, I believe it only went up more since.

In Australia Thai and Cambodian rice now $4.50 a kg. How much in Cambodia? What do farmers get for their rice now.

Yesterday I bought 50 kg for 170.000r, about 0,83$ per kilo. Used to be 150.000r. Not the best, medium quality.willyhilly wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2023 5:25 pm In Australia Thai and Cambodian rice now $4.50 a kg. How much in Cambodia? What do farmers get for their rice now.
Back in the Netherlands a kg of first quality rice would cost me about € 2 (2,10$) last month, but that was packaged per kilo, not in a large quantity. The Ozzie price seems a bit high at first sight.

125-185 baht/5 kilos $3.95-5.00/kilo
If you buy 50 kilos at Makro its 15% less
the rice we eat is 160 baht/5 kilos

Everything has gone up everywhere & theres really no justification for it. No matter what one thinks, its just all wanting to fist their fellow man.
Dog treats, I realised yesterday they have doubled in price in a year. Thats not because of higher staffing costs, rents, taxes or ingredients. Thats just a chain of twats wanting to make more.
Many will perish due to this ongoing fuckery, I wish most of you the best & my one tip is buy in bulk now, tomorrow prices will be up
