It contains generous quantities of sugar and salt.
Citrate, which is prescrition only in the USA.
Very small amounts of Viramins B1, B2, B6, C. Miniscule amounts of potassium, calcium.

I hope it tastes good because it doesn't have much else going for it.
Not sure what you expect it to be. It's meant to be an oral rehydration solution, and fits that bill.

You're a funny guy, looking at the ingredients. In Thailand, of all places.

Yeah Royal D is pretty poor quality and not great for rehydration or your teeth

I like dioralyte or Orasel instead - they use glucose, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and a few other things - not as disgustingly sweet or sticky as the D

Either way they do the job effectively, rehydrating the body from the person who takes the product. Also, being quick and efficient, better than seeing people on the back of motos with a drip.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Yes, useful if you've had a severe bout of diarrhoea . Or you could just chuck some salt and sugar into a glass of water I suppose.
But how much vodka or whisky would you put in ?

I once tried a pre-emptive strike against a hangover by drinking double vodka mixed with royal d and soda for my nightcaps before leaving the pub and knowing I had work in the morning

It had perhaps the opposite of the desired effect

You could, if you want the shits and a foul taste in your mouth 😉
Why would that give you the shits?
I am in no way, shape or form a doctor, but I suspect you’d already have the shits if you had diarrhea.
Speaking as a doctor, I can assure you the best thing for diarrhoea is drinking draft beer. The best cure for diarrhoea is not drinking draft beer for 24+ hours.

That'll be $25 please.

(I accept Cambodia beer winning ring pulls)

How do I buy shares in Royal D?
Everyone agrees it's made of sugar and salt and not much else and so many like it.

I've been adding a packet to my Tonic water, tastes pretty damn good if you like a mix in between of "too sweet" and "too bitter".

The orange one has exactly the same ingredients as the other flavours that are marked up as electrolytes it just has some extra added vitamins.
