Moving to Cambodia

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I don't know many countries as easy to waltz into as Cambodia so there is really no preparation needed at all, just some cash. Also this is a hell of a thread nice work, all. :stir:

To start with, get the E-type (Ordinary) Visa on Arrival, $35, valid for 1 month. Then go to a Visa agency, apply for a 12 month EB (Business) EOS (Extension of Stay)... officially this requires all sorts of business/employment related supporting documentation, but the majority of Visa agencies provide this at an extra cost.

All I wanted to know was information on Visa's.

How did it come to this?
I’m sure it had nothing to do with your unprovoked rant about the west.
Rant? Yes. Unprovoked? NO. Truth? YES!

LOL. You calling me ignorant isn’t judging? Looks like you are suffering from a case of short-term memory.

Sounds great, but I'm not moving to Cambodia now, It's clearly not safe for me and my girlfriend.

However, I'm a 7 foot 2 inch body builder professionally trained in martial arts such as kelsi, krav maga, jeet kune do but to name a few! My girlfriend is 4 foot 2 inch.

I think it would be slightly foolish to have a disagreement with some people on some random forum then decide upon presence in a different country, but do as you please of course.

You talk a lot of sense, but they don't like me, it's because I'm Irish isn't it?
