Actually no. I know that particular hard nut personally and I would not be dismissing that lightly. He's who I'd go to if I needed certain work done.

I don't doubt your word SC, as you seem to be an honest, straight up kinda guy. He may in fact be a hard-nut, but what I doubt is this persons ex-SAS, picking up people for foreign countries, etc claims. It's amazing how many 'Walts (Walter Mitty's)' in SEA claim to be ex-this n' that, but in reality those who were ex-this n' that are usually extremely humble, modest men who do not speak of their prior/current this n' that work.

I know several serving/ex-SAS lads, even a few who reside in Cambodia, and not one of them would ever divulge this sort of info to 'civilians'. The only reason I know these guys is because the NZ Army and my current profession are both very small worlds, not from meeting them in a bar or similar.

If I am wrong, and this guy really is who he claims to be, then I will stand corrected.
