Cambodia News(Phnom Penh): On 3 May 2022 at 11:50 pm, there was a traffic accident along Road R8 in front of the Flatiron Building in Srah Chak, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh,involving a white Lexus LX570 SuperSport which contained a TV crew, and a White Lexus NX200t driven by a foreign woman.

Shortly before the accident occurred, a local TV station film team involving a producer and an actor stopped their car to prepare a short film outside the Flatiron, when suddenly the woman driver drove up in a Lexus and hit the crew’s vehicle from behind, causing damage.

The parties managed to settle compensation on the spot, with the foreign driver paying USD 500 as compensation for damage to the victims.

Star in a car: Famous actor in late night Phnom Penh crash

Famous actor and TV host Davuth was the victim last night of poor driving when his Lexus was shunted into by a foreign driver.

The incident occurred at 11:40 pm on May 3, 2022 in front of a building along R8 in Boeung Kak Lake in Srah Chak, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

According to sources at the scene, the white LEXUS LX570 of Davuth was traveling from west to east at a safe speed.

Suddenly, a white LEXUS NT200t – driven by a Chinese woman – which traveling in the opposite direction from east to west smashed into Davuth’s car, causing severe damage to the vehicle.

Although the actor was shaken, fortunately no-one was injured in the crash.

After the incident, the two sides mediated for a while to reach a resolution.
The situation was resolved by the Chinese woman paying $550 to Davuth as compensation.

Was part of the reporter's educational trip to China was to call Chinese foreigners, seem lately there's been a change in reporting,
It was a give away when $500 was handed over for settlement not many other foreigners carry that much loose change around.

Whereabouts? I can see that area from the building I'm in right now but haven't noticed anything like that.

I know that one but haven't been close to it in a long time. It looks like the top floors are crooked, I don't see much resemblance to the one on 5th Avenue.
