Re: New British Ambassador Appointed to Cambodia
Maybe he'll be able to help with the declining trade between the UK and Cambodia. The largest segment seems to be vehicles. I'm not sure what constitutes a British car anymore. There is Aston Martin I suppose. Rolls Royce have a large presence here but they are German owned now.

You have a point, but have you read the (general) forum comments on the out-going British Ambassador ? The new guy has a lot to live up to.Ghostwriter wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 11:56 pmOh i'm sure he will be glad to help after such an introduction !John Bingham wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 10:06 pm Maybe he'll be able to help with the declining trade between the UK and Cambodia.

Any CEO thread to do with British nationals in distress. (Try "singlet", but that was an extreme case.)Ghostwriter wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 1:10 amAh ? let me see..any link please ?Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 12:36 am You have a point, but have you read the (general) forum comments on the out-going British Ambassador ? FTFY
Set the bar low enough, even the pie-nonce can be expected to excel, and quite frankly, setting a low bar is something that this recent mob have become good at.
I wish the new incumbent all the best, and still hold out some hope, if not expectation. Capacity to be disappointed, not surprised.

Ah, you mean the lack of commitment, i've read that a few times indeed over the years...The British guy organizing the last plane to board to UK when covid hit when the embassy did fuck all, this vibe, right ?Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 1:26 amAny CEO thread to do with British nationals in distress. Re: New British Ambassador Appointed to Cambodia
Just some, any indication that British citizens in Cambodia are of any concern to the Embassy would be nice

I think JLR still count as British in these figures, I know owned by Tata but based in UKJohn Bingham wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 10:06 pm The largest segment seems to be vehicles. I'm not sure what constitutes a British car anymore. There is Aston Martin I suppose.
